Early Life and Career

Joseph Lee Burrow, born on December 10, 1996, is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Burrow played college football for the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers, where he led the team to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2019.

In 2019, Burrow had a record-breaking season for the LSU Tigers. He passed for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and six interceptions, and led the Tigers to a 15-0 record and the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Burrow won the Heisman Trophy by the largest margin in the history of the award and was named the unanimous National Player of the Year. He was also named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year and the AP Player of the Year.

Cincinnati Bengals

Burrow was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He started 10 games in his rookie season before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

In 2022, Burrow led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988. The Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, but Burrow had a strong performance, passing for 263 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
